Why Generic AI Training Rarely Changes How People Work
Most companies already pay for an AI assistant. The problem is that a two-hour webinar on "what is generative AI" leaves a support agent, a recruiter and an accountant with the same generic tips and no idea how to apply them to tomorrow's workload. Usage spikes for a week and then fades.
Our approach is different. Each employee takes the course written for their own role, so the examples, prompts and assignments come from the tasks already on their desk. Nobody needs a technical background, and every course ends with an exam, so you know who can actually do the work rather than who watched the videos.
Team Pricing for AI Training
One price per seat, set by the number of seats in your order. Mix any courses you like. No platform fees, setup fees or annual contracts.
| Package | Team size | Price per seat | Discount | Example order |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Small Team | 1 to 5 seats | $249 | 50% off | 5 seats for $1,245 |
| Starter | 6 to 10 seats | $224 | 55% off | 10 seats for $2,240 |
| Growth | 11 to 20 seats | $199 | 60% off | 20 seats for $3,980 |
| Scale | 21 to 35 seats | $174 | 65% off | 35 seats for $6,090 |
| Enterprise | 36+ seats | $149 | 70% off | 50 seats for $7,450 |
Prices are in US dollars. Every seat includes the full course, the final exam and the certificate, with lifetime access and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
What every employee seat includes
- A course for their role. Any one of 209 courses, four units and about 25 hours of self-paced study.
- Hands-on assignments. Exercises built from real tasks in that job, plus unit quizzes to check understanding.
- Prompt templates and workflows. Ready-to-use prompts they can apply the same day.

AI Training for Every Department
Each employee picks the course that matches their role. These are the courses teams order most often, and the full catalog covers 209 careers across 15 industries.
Customer Support Teams
Agents learn to draft on-brand replies, summarize long ticket histories, build macros and help-center articles, and calm an escalation without sounding scripted.
HR and People Teams
Write job descriptions, policies and employee communications faster, screen and source candidates more fairly, and build onboarding and training material.
Sales Teams
Research accounts before the call, write outreach that earns replies, handle objections, and keep the CRM current without losing an evening to it.
Marketing Teams
Plan campaigns, brief and draft content, repurpose it across channels, and analyze results while keeping the brand voice consistent.
Finance and Accounting Teams
Reconcile faster, explain variances in plain language, draft board reporting, and check AI output with the rigor finance work demands.
Administrative and Operations Teams

Legal and Compliance Teams
Speed up document review, research and first drafts while learning exactly where AI output needs a human check before it leaves the building.
IT, Data and Product Teams
Write documentation and specs, analyze data, triage issues, and use AI safely inside the tools your technical staff already work in.
Not seeing a role? Browse all 209 courses. Every one of them can be added to a team order.
Corporate AI training for customer support teams
Support is usually the fastest team to see results, because so much of the day is writing. Agents learn to draft accurate replies in the company's voice, summarize a long ticket history in seconds, turn solved tickets into help-center articles, and handle an angry customer without sounding scripted. They also learn what customer data must never go into an AI tool.
Pricing example. A 25-agent support team falls in the Scale package at $174 a seat, which is $4,350 for the whole team, including every exam and certificate. Supervisors can take the same course or a management course in the same order.

A Certificate Every Employee Can Prove
Completion alone does not tell you much. Our courses end with a final exam of multiple-choice and short-answer questions, and only employees who reach the 70% pass mark receive a Certificate of Completion in their course.
Every certificate carries a unique ID in the format WPAI-YYYY-XXXXXX. Your HR or L&D team can enter it on our certificate verification page to confirm the employee's name, the course, the completion date and the passing result. Employees receive it as a PDF and can add it to their LinkedIn profile in one click.

AI Literacy Training and the EU AI Act
Since 2 February 2025, Article 4 of the EU AI Act has required providers and deployers of AI systems to take measures to ensure, to their best extent, a sufficient level of AI literacy among the staff who operate and use those systems. What counts as sufficient depends on each person's technical knowledge, experience, education and the context the AI is used in.
The Act does not name a required course or certificate. What it asks for is sensible, proportionate measures, and training matched to each person's role is one of the clearest ways to show them. Role-specific courses fit that test better than one generic session, and a passed exam with a verifiable certificate gives you a record for every employee.
- Training tailored to the context each employee uses AI in
- Coverage of privacy, confidentiality and checking AI output
- An exam result and certificate on file for each person
This is general information, not legal advice. Completing training does not by itself make an organization compliant. Read the regulation text at EUR-Lex (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689).
How Role-Specific Training Compares
There are three common ways companies train staff on AI. Here is how they differ on the things that decide whether the training gets used.
| What matters | Workplace AI Institute | General course libraries | One-off workshop |
|---|---|---|---|
| Examples match the employee's job | Yes, one course per role | Mostly general examples | Depends on the trainer |
| Hands-on assignments | In every unit | Varies by course | Limited to the session |
| Assessed with an exam | Yes, 70% pass mark | Often completion only | Rarely |
| Verifiable certificate per person | Yes, with a unique ID | Varies | Usually attendance only |
| Scheduling | Self-paced, no live sessions | Self-paced | Fixed date and time |
| Pricing | $149 to $249 per seat, one-time | Usually an annual subscription | Day rate per session |
How to Roll Out AI Training Across Your Company
The companies that get the most from AI training treat it as a small, well-run project rather than a memo. This is the sequence we see work best.
-
Start with one team that writes a lot
Pick a pilot group with plenty of repetitive writing, research or admin, such as customer support, recruiting or the executive assistant pool. Their time savings show up fastest and make the case for everyone else.
-
Match each person to their role course
Resist putting everyone through the same generic module. An accountant and a recruiter use AI for different tasks, so give each person the course for the job they do. One order can mix any courses.
-
Agree your AI use policy first
Tell staff which AI tools are approved and what data must never go into them. The courses teach safe habits, and they stick far better when they match your own rules.
-
Set a completion window
About 25 hours of study usually fits into two to four weeks. Protect an hour or two a week on calendars, and ask managers to check in on progress in their regular one-to-ones.
-
Verify certificates and share the wins
Check each certificate ID, then ask the pilot group to share the prompts and workflows that saved them the most time. Use those results to plan the next department.
Questions About AI Training for Employees
How much does AI training for employees cost?
Each seat lists at $498, and team pricing takes 50% to 70% off depending on how many seats you buy in one order. That works out to $249 a seat for 1 to 5 people, falling to $149 a seat for 36 or more. The seat price covers the full course, every assignment, the final exam and the certificate. There are no platform fees, setup fees or annual contracts.
Can each employee take a different course?
Yes. Every seat is a full enrollment in any one of our 209 role-specific courses, so your support agents can take AI for Customer Service Representatives while your recruiters take AI for Recruiters and Talent Sourcers. The team discount is based on the total number of seats, not on everyone choosing the same course.
Do employees get a certificate, and how can we verify it?
Every employee who passes the final exam earns a Certificate of Completion in their course. The exam combines multiple-choice and short-answer questions with a 70% pass mark. Each certificate carries a unique ID in the format WPAI-YYYY-XXXXXX, which anyone can check on our verification page to confirm the name, course, completion date and passing result. It is a professional development credential, not an accredited degree.
Is the training suitable for non-technical staff?
Yes. The courses are written for professionals, not programmers. There is no coding, and each course starts with setting up AI tools and writing a first useful prompt before moving on to the tasks of that specific job.
Which AI tools will our employees learn to use?
The techniques work across the major assistants, including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Microsoft Copilot. A free account on any of them is enough to complete the course, so you do not need to buy new software licenses first. If your company has approved one tool, employees can do every exercise in that tool.
How long does the training take?
Each course is about 25 hours of self-paced study across four units, with quizzes and hands-on assignments. Most people finish in two to four weeks alongside their normal workload. There are no live sessions to schedule, so shift workers and remote staff can study when it suits them.
Does this training help with the AI literacy requirement in the EU AI Act?
Article 4 of the EU AI Act asks organizations that provide or deploy AI systems to take measures to ensure a sufficient level of AI literacy among the staff who use them. The Act does not prescribe a particular course or certificate. Role-specific training with a passed exam and a verifiable certificate for each person is a practical, documented measure you can point to. It is not legal advice, and it does not by itself make an organization compliant.
Does the training cover privacy and responsible AI use?
Yes. Every course covers what is safe to share with an AI tool, what must stay confidential, how to check AI output before relying on it, and how to use AI responsibly in that profession. For many teams this is the most valuable part, because it turns informal, unsupervised use into consistent practice.
How do we pay, and can we be invoiced?
Yes. Request an invoice with the form on this page and we email a single invoice within one business day. Your finance team can pay by bank transfer or card, with NET-30 terms available for larger orders. Once it is paid we set up each seat and email your team their login details. Every seat is covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee.
What if we need more than 50 seats, or want to add seats later?
Choose 50+ on the calculator and we will confirm the exact seat count with you before we invoice. Enterprise pricing of $149 a seat applies from 36 seats. To add people later, send a new request for the extra seats or contact us and we will price them for you.
